ABOUT LUC

Christopher Lucas (a.k.a. LUC) is a visual artist, graphic designer, illustrator, and writer whose work bridges fine art, design, and storytelling. Born on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, he demonstrated an early passion for the arts and a strong creative instinct that continues to shape his multidisciplinary practice. At the age of seventeen, he relocated to New York City, where he studied at the City College of New York, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication Arts with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations.

As Creative Director & Designer at LUC.NYC, he leads creative strategy and hands-on execution for a media and design consulting studio specializing in branding, visual storytelling, and high-impact design for digital and print marketing. He partners with organizations, institutions, and creative teams to translate complex ideas into clear, cohesive visual systems—balancing concept, craft, and thoughtful process from strategy through delivery.

His work spans creative direction, graphic design, and project leadership. Luc guides brand development, campaign conception, and content creation while remaining deeply involved in execution across print, digital, editorial, and motion-based work. With a background in graphic design, creative project management, and integrated communications, he manages timelines, feedback cycles, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure projects are delivered with clarity, consistency, and intent.
