Christopher Lucas a.k.a LUC is a New York City based visual artist, graphic designer, illustrator and writer.
LUC started life on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, where at an early age he showed a remarkable passion for the arts. In 2003, he moved to New York City, and attended the City College of New York where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Media and Communications, specializing in Public Relations and Advertising.
Continuing his art practice, LUC has achieved multiple successes in his career, lately becoming involved in community organizing through the arts, and dedicating the better part of the last decade to researching and writing a Historical Fiction Novel based on Norse Folklore and Mythology, while continuing his commercial and freelance work.
In 2012, LUC held his first major visual art show at Grapepoint Wines, a subterranean speakeasy art gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, gathering praise from local business owners and residents. Again in 2014, LUC showed his works at the Easton Riverside Arts Festival in Easton, PA, and in 2016 at the Galerie Mourlot Art Fair.
LUC is currently living in Dublin, Ireland where he is focused on pursuing a publishing deal for his upcoming novel.
